Society of Illustrators’ Education Committee – May 2007
The Society of Illustrators’ Annual Student Exhibition boasted some exciting new work this year. As a member of the education committee for over ten years, I look forward to some changes that are being implemented. This year, we are installing a new online portal for the acceptance of entries. Bug Logic will be doing the work and we all look forward to using this innovative tool for our next exhibition.
Creatively Speaking Lecture – May 2007
At the NH Creative Club, I spoke to designers, illustrators, photographers and animators on how to get on top and stay on top. In addition to providing valuable insight into the strategy, concept, messaging, and production behind many outstanding national and international promotional initiatives, the lecture will also include such topics as: nurturing the artist within, breathing new life into your creative process and approach, innovative brainstorming and ideation strategies, maintaining creative flow in a group environment, team building initiatives, innovative production techniques, and collaborative endeavors that push artistic content to new heights.
